Pilot on Phuket-New Delhi flight sacked for flying under the influence
Air India has sacked a pilot who was found drunk after operating an international flight from Phuket to India. As per reports, the pilot was given a breathalyser (BA) test after arriving in the country, and the person tested positive for alcohol consumption. The captain operated a flight from Phuket to Delhi.
Police tase Russian man in drunken rage at hotel
Karon Police have warned foreigners against drunken, chaotic behaviour after a Russian man was arrested for causing a disturbance at a hotel in Karon earlier this week. The man punched and kicked the officers trying to clam him down.
